Important things to consider:

-The resort is 10-15 minutes from Cancun International Airport by car or Taxi. Shuttle buses from the airport are the best way to get to the hotel (currently $9.00 per person), A taxi is $40.00 for up to 3 people. Return to the airport should cost $20.00 for a taxi for up to 3 people.

-Cancun is the haven for Time Share sellers even in the airport. Do not let them arrange any transportation for you unless you are looking to take time up at their time share property.  Just tell them you are going to your condo, and book your car or shuttle to the hotel at the taxi booth as you exit the terminal at the official taxi and shuttle stand.

-Transportation in Cancun is either by taxi or public buses. Buses run around the clock up and down the hotel zone and into downtown shopping areas. They are safe and cost only about 65 cents per person. Taxis in the hotel zone are expensive, but downtown you can get anywhere for $2.00 per ride. You must bargain with the drivers or you will be charged whatever they want. The taxi’s are not metered.

-You can and should bargain in the flea markets, street vendors and taxi drivers. In restaurants and regular stores the prices are firmly set.

-Our property manager can help you book tours, or guide you to a location where you can get good deals on various tours, restaurants and shopping.

-Remember, you are in a foreign country and you must obey their laws. The Mexican people are very polite and proud of their heritage. They will do everything to help you have a pleasant time.  If you have any problems, please speak to our property manager to help you out in any way they can.
